Unfinished toolchest

This is still unfinished because I realized since I used someone else' design it won’t fit my planes. I do use it though. This is Paul Seller’s design.

Tools

This jack plane is the first plane I’ve ever made and it works great. The blade I cut from 2" wide ¼" thick O1 tool steel. I shaped and heat treated it myself.

I am particularly proud of my smoothing plane, I laminated the parts first then cut the mortised out the way you would from a solid piece.

These are some of the first pieces of furniture I ever made, the first one I still have in my house.
